McLaren 765LT Spider

What immediately stands out about the McLaren 765LT Spider is the bodywork. It is made of carbon fibre moulded to optimise downforce. In addition, the front suspension has been lowered and the front spoiler has been widened to optimise handling. You can recognise the side air intakes from the 675LT Spider, as they are the same. The lightweight 10-spoke alloy wheels and carbon rear spoiler are newly designed for the 765 LT Spider.

Introduced in March 2020, the McLaren 765LT Spider is the limited successor to the McLaren 675LT. Only 765 units of the 765LT Spider were, ironically, produced. The first bolides of this model were delivered to customers in October 2020. However, much of the 765LT Spider corresponds to the 720S. The McLaren 765LT Spider is so modified compared to the 720S that it performs better on a track. For instance, it is about 80 kilos lighter and 5mm lowered to improve aerodynamics. Additionally, what sets the 765LT Spider apart from the 720S Spider is the all-titanium exhaust with 4 outlets.

If you’d like to have this supercar in your garage, you’ll have to shell out the cash. It is available at many McLaren dealers around the world for a starting price of just over €410,000 if you want the fixed-roof version. Still prefer a roof that folds electrically? Then put down around €30,000 more. These prices are still without accessories and other additions. For that amount, you do get a great car that gets to 100km/h in 2.8 seconds. Step it up a notch and you’ll be at 200km/h after just 7.2 seconds. Top speed comes out at 330km/h.
