Since 2021, this circuit has been on the Formula 1 calendar. Soon, the circuit captured the hearts of many Formula 1 fans because it is the fastest street circuit on the calendar. The circuit in Jeddah is not only home to Formula 1 races. For instance, the season finale of the 2022 World Touring Car Cup was also held here. However, the circuit was shortened from 6,174 km to 3,450 km for this purpose. The fastest was driven by Gilles Magnus in an Audi RS 3 LMS TCR, Magnus was during this race a teammate of Tom Coronel who drove the same car.
