Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) is a state-of-the-art motorsport facility in the heart of the Sakhir Desert. Designed by renowned German engineer Hermann Tilke, the circuit incorporates many features of local culture.

The construction of the entire facility, which cost about $150 million, took less than 18 months. Quite an achievement considering the huge effort required to develop the land.

The Bahrain Circuit features five FIA-certified track layouts, more than anywhere else in the world. This allows the circuit to host a range of auto racing events. The 5.412-kilometre Grand Prix circuit regularly hosts international races. Think of the Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix, the FIA World Endurance Championship Six Hours of Bahrain, races in the GP2 series and the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup.

The Bahrain circuit is made for high top speeds, with a total of four straights where 300 km/h can easily be reached. That said, the circuit does have some treacherous points. Turn 1 has a very tricky turn, as it goes back to the right and then turns into turn 2, which goes down to the left again. Turn combination 9 on 10 which goes down with a double left is also tricky. Braking in time is essential for this turn. The corner combination from 4 to 8 is very spectacular, a flowing S as it were.

The difficulty level for this circuit is categorised as “easy”. Although there are plenty of exit lanes, you still have to pay attention.

Now we have put this circuit on paper and it is now available to you. If you have a different dream circuit or car, take a look in our webshop among the other designs!
